Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Legal Terms. It applies to every user and visitor worldwide. Last updated 1 September 2026.

You may not use SydGiG to:

• Violate any criminal or civil law that applies to you or to the Platform, including fraud, theft, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, bribery, corruption, tax evasion, or export-control breaches.
• Traffic in weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, or other illegal goods, or provide instructions for violent crime.
• Sexually exploit anyone, or share or request child sexual abuse material. We report CSAM to NCMEC and equivalent authorities and terminate involved accounts.
• Traffic people, or advertise work that is forced labour, child labour, or modern slavery.
• Harass, stalk, dox, threaten, or incite violence against any person or protected group.
• Infringe IP, including piracy, trademark squatting, or selling counterfeit goods or credentials.
• Offer unlicensed legal, medical, pharmaceutical, architectural, or investment advice where a licence is required, or to evade regulated-profession rules.
• Operate unlicensed gambling, pyramid schemes, or securities offerings.
• Collect or traffic in personal data unlawfully (including scraping that violates law or this AUP).
• Interfere with elections or civic processes with deceptive AI or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, probe, or overload our systems except through an authorised vulnerability-disclosure channel.
• Circumvent geographic, sanctions, or age restrictions, or create accounts after a ban.

• Fake gigs, fake reviews, review extortion, or reciprocal-review rings.
• Misrepresenting country, identity, credentials, or portfolio (including presenting others' work as your own).
• Fee avoidance and off-platform payment solicitation intended to evade SydGiG fees after a lead originated on the Platform, to the extent enforceable.
• Spam, repetitive identical listings, or keyword stuffing that misleads search.
• Manipulating ranking with bots or purchased accounts.

Content must also follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove content that is lawful in one country but prohibited in another when we geoblock or when network rules require a global takedown. EU DSA notice-and-action is described in the DSA notice.

We may remove content, limit discovery, suspend or terminate accounts, withhold or reverse payouts where lawful, and report to authorities or payment partners. Repeat infringement leads to termination. Appeals: support@sydgig.com (and the DSA appeal path for EU users).
